We realize that many of the resources that currently exist may not meet your specific needs. Where we can, Learning Point Associates will try to create resources to better assist you in navigating the resources and requirements of the ARRA. Please contact us to let us know what you need. Your ideas and suggestions will help guide our work.
- NEW! Systems and Strategies to Address the Inequitable Distribution of Teachers. Presentations included an overview of the research, information about the requirements and potential funding through ARRA that can be used to address the inequitable distribution of teachers, and a discussion of useful resources from the TQ Center (archived webinar from May 21, 2009).
- NEW! Evaluating Teacher Effectiveness: A Workshop Connecting Research to Policy and Practice (archived materials from workshop held April 28-29, 2009).
- NEW! The TQ Center has a new interactive mapping tool for regional comprehensive centers and state education agency staffs to dialogue on strategic applications of ARRA funds to improve teacher effectiveness and equitable distribution.
- NEW! The Education Stimulus: Too Big to Fail. Learning Point Associates and Mission Measurement interviewed more than 50 education leaders to determine how they are defining successful implementation of American Recovery and Reinvestment Act funds. We explored what impact these leaders expect this funding to have on the educational system. We offer considerations for building metrics to monitor success and impact that we derive from our findings.

The ARRA contains various provisions that permit the U.S. Department of Education to reserve funds for administration and oversight. This table assumes that the Department of Education will reserve the full amount permissible and will adjust each funding stream appropriately, and thus our figures may differ from those in other tables that have been produced.
