Project Description

The CAAPs(Cobre Academics and Arts Program) is administered at five schools by Cobre Consolidated Schools. We serve over 600 K-8th graders, providing quality programs that increase student achievement and student involvement in the visual and performing arts. This program also increases students' knowledge of the local language and culture, the involvement of their parents as active partners, and promote student wellness, safety and positive character development. There is a growing interest among staff, students and parents in this after-school program. The biggest challenge we have faced is that, due to a variety of circumstances, we have had three directors in the last year and a half.
