Project Description

The APCC/Haugan After School Program offers homework help, tutoring and enrichment activities to 80 low performing students. Our program runs Monday through Friday from 2:45PM until 5:45PM at Haugan Elementary School. We have succesfully collaborated with Haugan School administration in order to create a curriculum that deals specifically with the needs of our students while providing a variety of fun and engaging activities. We are working towards additional funding by holding fundraisers and applying for grants, however, due to budget cuts alternative funding is a barrier.
