Developer
This product is based on the work of William Sanders and colleagues; this model was developed by Dr. George Noell and the Louisiana Board of Regents.

Product Description
The Louisiana Value-Added Teacher Preparation Program Assessment Model draws on student achievement data from all school districts in the state as well as from all 22 public and private university-based teacher preparation programs. It is primarily used for evaluating teacher preparation programs.

General Target Population Information
This model was developed for use with teachers in Grades 4–9 who teach mathematics, science, social studies, language arts, and/or reading.

This model is used by 68 school districts in the state of Louisiana; it examines Grades 4–9 student scores.
