Increasing High School Rigor
Grand Rapids, Michigan
Designed for teams of district leaders who are currently implementing the Michigan Merit Curriculum, this one-day event helped participants better understand the research related to increasing rigor in high schools as Michigan makes a college prep curriculum the statewide default option for all students. Featured presenters included Elaine Allensworth, Ph.D., of the Consortium on Chicago School Research and Irvin Scott, the Academic Superintendent of High Schools at Boston Public Schools.
- View Elaine Allensworth's first presentation, College Preparatory Curriculum for All.
