Learning Point Associates Services:
Title I Fiscal Year (FY) 2009 Allocation—First Allocation

The American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA) provides significant new funding for programs under Title I, Part A of the Elementary and Secondary Education Act (ESEA). These funds are available to districts for schools that have high concentrations of students from families who live in poverty. The funds support initiatives to improve teaching and learning for students most at risk of failing to meet state academic achievement standards.

Learning Point Associates has 25 years of experience in taking research off the shelf to develop proven strategies and tools and successfully implementing them in districts across the country. Our work will help you to:

Improve student achievement through school improvement and reform. Our expertise includes:

Ensure transparency, reporting, and accountability. We will:

  • Conduct rigorous studies identifying how well an initiative is working and whether it is providing sufficient return on investment.
  • Interpret ARRA federal guidance and capture the needed data required by the Office of Management and Budget and the U.S. Department of Education.

For more information, contact us by e-mail or telephone (800-356-2735).

Invest the one-time ARRA funding thoughtfully to provide lasting change without requiring further investment once the funding ends.
