Emerging Trends Reflected in the State Phase 1 Race to the Top Applications
Learning Point Associates and the Council of Chief State School Officers conducted a preliminary review of all 41 Phase 1 Race to the Top applications. The review provides insight into the emerging state trends concerning the education workforce; information systems and research; next generation learners; and standards, assessments, and accountability.
Learning Point Associates then examined the 41 applications for trends relating to specific education issues. Our Emerging Trends series focuses on six topics.
