Project Description

Research-based tutorial instruction in reading and mathematics is being provided to high-risk elementary school students from Eden, Hyde Park and Johnson. High school students from Lamoille Union High School are provide tutoring under the guidance of certified teachers at each of the after school and summer sites. Classroom teachers, based on a variety of performance measures, will identify students to participate. Each school has made focused efforts with parents to encourage participation. Transportation services have been provided when necessary to ensure that all high-risk students can access the programs.
