Project Description

Open Doors offers exciting out-of-school time opportunities for Franklin Central Supervisory Union's middle school students to learn and lead in collaboration with our schools and community. This year we offered 133 programs, we served 52% of the students in our district in grades 5-8, and students spent a total of 19,640 hours in programming. On October 18, 2004 Open Doors was Awarded the National Civic Star for the state of Vermont by the American Association of School Administrators in recognition of our work to successfully "involve [our] community while promoting academic achievement."
