Project Description

The 21st Cntury Community Learning Center grant received by the Lauderdale County School System is being used to establish both an "early morning" program at Halls Junior High School and an "after-school" program for Ripley Elementary School. These programs have been designed to serve approximately 200 students identified as economically disadvantaged and in need of additional assistance in the subjects of math and/or reading based on individual Terra Nova State scores. Both of these sites have been structured to provide additional enrichment activities in all core subjects plus the arts and character education.
