Project Description

The CHAMPS Afterschool Program (funded by 21st Century) is in session three hours each day that school is in session for a full day. The program operates September through May during the school year and five weeks during the summer. Students attend the program at their own school site immediately following the end of the regular school day. A typical day includes: Transition/Snack Time; Health & Fitness Activity; Academic Enhancement; and Youth Development Activity (Personal Development and Prevention of High Risk Behaviors).
