Project Description

The SOARR (Students Opportunities for Acadmics, Resiliency and Recreation) Program was established in three of the elementary schools, Carl Benner (now Gordon), Rainbow and Caln, all of which qualify for Title I funding to address the growing number of students who are learning English as a Second Language. The program is intended to provide these students and their families, as well as other students indentified at-risk of academic failure learning opoortunities to support them both academically and socially in an afterschool setting.
