Project Description

Elk City is a rural community of about 10,000 residents in western Oklahoma. The purpose of Project ENHANCE is to establish community-learning centers that provide activities designed to complement the regular academic program of 2nd through 6th grade students as well as education of adults in our community. Our program has not been able to secure the number of volunteers that was expected, but we have been fortunate enough to hire competent and effective teachers to work.
