Project Description

LINKS For Learning, a program of the Livingston School District, provides safe, supervised after-school and summer activities to children in grades 1-5. LINKS for Learning offers homework help, reading support, and a variety of enrichment activities including outdoor education, drama, art, and volunteer service opportunities. Students enjoy computer and library access, fitness activities and healthy snacks. A small student to staff ratio permits individualized attention, small-group interactions, explorations and hands-on activities. All LINKS activities take place at Washington School, a recently closed elementary school. Children are bussed from their home schools to the after-school program. LINKS strives to increase community involvement in our schools and expand the role of schools in the community through collaborations with a variety of youth-serving programs.
