Project Description

This proposal seeks funds to expand programming to include students in grades nine through twelve attending Washington High School whose academic performance qualifies them to receive services. The Center will provide tutoring, academic support, and cultural enrichment to at-risk students to increase academic achievement and graduation rates, decrease drop out rates, improve school attendance, decrease discipline referrals, and increase parental involvement, as the high school years are the district's last opportunity to positively impact the lives of Beaufort County's future generation.
