Project Description

The East Union and Murray Community School Districts are weaving three organizational strands - school, family and community - into an integrated program, combining identification and assessment of student and family needs with the delivery of services and/or information. The project is tailored so that all students, their families and caring members of the communities are included in an effort to draw upon the strengths and talents of the successful students and families, in order to ensure the success of all. By bringing together a number of existing community organizations and resources, the project can expand learning opportunities which contribute to improved reading, math and science skills; increased phsical activity and recreational opportunities; expanded technological skills; and increased cultural and artistic opportunities for both students and their families.
