Project Description

The 21st CLCC grant is funding an after school program called STARS. STARS serves children in grades 5-8 at Gale Academy a Chicago Public School in Rogers Park. The program focuses on improving academic achievement through intense tutoring, homework help, and academic exercises and activities. It also provides social skill building activities, snacks, life skills, family involvement and a social work component.
