Project Description

In partnership with Kankakee School District 111 and the Pledge for Life Partnership, I-KAN ROE has established an after-school 21st Century Learning Center at Aroma Park Primary School, Steuben Elementary School and Kankakee High School. Reading, math and a variety of other enrichment activities are offered, including crafts, dance, cooking, conversation Spanish, manners, tumbling, and technology. Students not meeting academic achievement goals are targeted for referral to the program.
