Project Description

The project addresses the following three goals aligned with the identified school's (Towne Point Elementary) improvement plan, items identified as important by parents in a school wide survey, and based on indentified programatic needs from the previous year:1. Improve student achievement in reading 2. Increase family literacy and parent participation in school activities. 3. Provide a safe and drug free environment that support the academic, emotional and social growth of students. 4. Improve staff's knowledge regarding best practices fro after school programming. Services will be provided to a third area. Programming will serve students in grades K-6.
