Beyond the Bell Third Edition

21st Century Community Learning Centers Analytic Support

Learning Point Associates, through a grant from the U.S. Department of Education, has worked to design, deploy, and maintain a Web-based data collection system to capture and report information regarding 21st Century Community Learning Center (21st CCLC) programs. The 21st CCLC Profile and Performance Information Collection System (PPICS) includes four data collection modules:

  • Competition Overview—collects descriptive data about state-run 21st CCLC competitions.
  • Grantee Profile—contains descriptive data about grantees and their 21st CCLC sites.
  • Annual Performance Report (APR)—collects and analyzes performance indicator data chosen by each state.
  • State Activities—collects and reports on information about state-level administration efforts.

During the initial three-year project period, Learning Point Associates will provide an analysis of the data collected in PPICS to determine grantee progress in achieving Government Performance and Reporting Act (GPRA) performance indicators and to support related program monitoring and evaluation efforts. Learning Point Associates is also developing a clearinghouse-style website resource for 21st CCLC stakeholders that will provide resources, updates on policy, news and training events, a discussion board, and more.

 

Learning Point Associates provides customized evaluation services to help determine what is working well and identify  portential areas for improvement.
