Great Lakes East is working to provide states with relevant and timely information in response to the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA), which was signed into law on February 17, 2009, by President Barack Obama. This page is designed to bring new information and resources regarding ARRA, the State Fiscal Stabilization Fund (SFSF), Race to the Top, state efforts, and other relevant issues. The U.S. Department of Education released the Title I School Improvement Grants, State Fiscal Stabilization Fund (Phase II), and State Longitudinal Data Systems draft materials for comment. Great Lakes West and Great Lakes East Centers have developed short, concise summaries of these materials.
