Where am I?

Data Workshops

Our Data Workshops have gained national recognition for their ability to illuminate the stories being told by your school or district data and to pinpoint the action steps that are most likely to improve student performance.

"Learning how to compile data and how to use it was most informative. I now know how to do this at the classroom level—I wish our entire staff could have attended."—Data workshop participant, Quest Academy, Lima, Ohio

During the two-day Data Workshop, school and district team members will review student achievement, demographic, program and perception data, and:

  • Analyze the data through four lenses.
  • Establish clear, data-based strategic, measurable, achievable, realistic, and timely (SMART) objectives.
  • Develop research-based strategies for improvement.
  • Create an improvement plan to measure results.

Data Workshops Are a Part of Your Improvement Cycle
The improvement cycle is a team effort. Representatives from local communities and schools, including individual administrators and teachers, team up to determine school goals, school operations, and teaching and learning approaches. A Data Workshop is a key component in the improvement cycle.
