National Program Database

Learning Point Associates is the source for up-to-date, comprehensive information on all 21st Century Community Learning Centers (CCLCs) funded nationwide. These federally funded afterschool programs provide academic enrichment activities to students mainly from low-performing schools in areas with high rates of poverty. Through a grant from the U.S. Department of Education, we operate the Profile and Performance Information Collection System (PPICS). PPICS collects information on the 21st CCLC program, the state administration of the centers and the annual performance indicators submitted by the centers.

We currently are analyzing the data collected in PPICS on program performance, student outcomes, and the state monitoring and evaluation of programs. This information will provide funders, state-level administrators and program staff with vital information on what it takes to run successful programs and on the results that programs can achieve. The PPICS database is adding to our national understanding of the value of quality afterschool programming.
